In respose to the "Call for Artists" over 80 applications from 34 countries were received. Through a two-stage selection process, the best artists have been chosen to participate and 24 best proposals in a form of maquettes or scale models of the sculptures, submitted for the Symposium, were displayed publicly throughout year 2004 in various public sites of Ontario.
